Photo Gallery: Buzzcut Season

These lyrics embody the idea of revival, of starting over. To me, this concept feels like being able to reconnect with my 16-year-old self through being in the city and being able to relate more and more to the lyrics as I spend more time here. Coming from so far away for school made me feel lost, but I was able to go through this revival of finding my place through the things I love doing, through exploring the city and finding my people, and that’s what this photoshoot and concept embodies. I hope to emphasize this feeling of initially feeling out of place in a new environment, but being able to start over and find your place/people. This is the story of a girl finding herself in a new city with a new person.
