Neu Premieres New Single and Video: "Dizzy"
Lea Neu is back with her latest single and music video, “Dizzy”. Written by Neu, the song is ethereal and calls on themes of the often intoxicating feeling of a frustrated and dead-end love set to an infectious drumbeat. The video, directed by Kate Gondwe and shot on film, shows this sense of reflection and playfulness in the isolation of confusion bred from a relationship turned sour. “Every voice I hear starts to sound like yours/ but the words aren’t enough/ so what’s it all for”, Neu croons while putting on her makeup.
Neu, a New Jersey native, expanded on her childhood days of singing in New York when she collaborated with Jake Weinberg, who produces under the name RUNNER. She amassed over 300k Spotify streams on her debut single, “Cobwebs”, in 2018, which now sits at over a million. Neu’s first EP, “Nostalgia”, is set for release in Spring of 2020.
